Riverside County is the second fastest growing county in California and is ranked fourth statewide for housing growth. The implications for this rate of growth on our communities, economy, and quality of life are critical.

WRCOG developed and administers the Transportation Uniform Mitigation Fee (TUMF), a program that ensures that new development pays its fair share for the increased traffic that it creates. The TUMF will raise over $5 billion for transportation projects in Western Riverside County.

WRCOG is also engaged in transportation issues of regional importance in the areas of goods movement, rail crossings, and growth.
